Me Voy

i've been living in Atlanta for about eight years now. although I am not actively excited, i think that this new move is good for me and will definitely contribute to my overall growth, as i have felt a bit stagnant since graduation. my mission is to real-ize my potential, so that i can make the kind of contribution to humanity that i have always hoped to give. when you frequently allow yourself to be swayed by other people's opinions, needs, and wants you can lose your sense of direction and grasp on your own needs and wants. so i look forward to the opportunity to be detached, having the space to focus on my own self-development. sometimes growth requires you to leave your comfort zone and go elsewhere. i say alhamdulilah for the opportunity and for a sense (despite a bit of sadness) of being in the right place.
